Description: Signed by M. Caswell and S. Caswell. Printed on thick paper. Typeset face with ornamental
borders. Pattern back design with imprint 'Printed by James Davis, 1778'. There were three
motto types intended for the $5 notes with a print figure of 16,666 notes each (50,000
combined for the three). Light top edge horizontal fold. Handling on all four corners, but
a sharp note. Petty red signature ink smear from stacking.The $5 ''Independence'' type
listed as ''Rare'' in Newman was an error type, not intended for circulation.Ex F.C.C.
