Description: 6.61 grams, 23.30 mm. Types as above. Medium gold with some orange toning and traces of
lustre in protected areas, faint diagonal scratch upward from the 1 in the date to cheek.
Very nice eye appeal for the type and with a good provenance. ($550-900)Thomas W. Voetter
was an avid collector of Latin American issues, particularly Mexican coins. He began his
diplomatic career as U.S. consul at Saltillo, Mexico in 1907. Many of the best coins from
