Name: 1906 25C
Description: Highly lustrous and brilliant, a satiny, reflective gem with strong eye appeal despite an
absence of cameo contrast. As of April 2003, PCGS had certified 192 Proof 1906 quarters in
all grades. Of those 192 pieces, only three were called cameo; the point here is that
virtually all 1906 Barber quarters are similar to the present coin, though not in quality.
The present coin is pleasing in all respects, and well worth a serious bid from an active
Barber quarter enthusiast. From the Luther A. Breck Collection.
Price: $2,703 (2003-07-25)
