A lovely example in an exceptionally high grade, this 1922-S Peace dollar is one of the
finest known. Indeed, NGC has graded none higher. Both obverse and reverse are highly
lustrous with some light mottled brown toning. The strike is not needle sharp (it never
is), but is quite good. The coin has relatively few marks, and in all other aspects is
very desirable. At this level the 1922-S is one of the most difficult Peace dollars to
