Sydenham-; Antestia 1. Crawford 219/1e. Some roughness due to die flaw at flan's edges. Well centered and nicely struck with even wear. Good Fine.
The dog walking before the Dioscuri motif is unusual and apparently unique to the gens Antestia. The varient in which the dog has one forepaw on the ground is rare. |
